Delete your CalX account
Instructions for requesting permanent deletion of your account and personal data.
Overview
You can permanently delete your CalX account and associated personal data at any time. Deletion cannot be undone. The preferred method is through the CalX mobile app; if you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by email.
Delete from the CalX app
- Open the CalX mobile app and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Go to About.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. This permanently deletes your CalX account and personal data.
After confirmation, you will be signed out and will no longer be able to use that account.
Delete by email
If you cannot use the app, email hello@calxfit.com with the subject line Account deletion request. Include the email address or phone number associated with your CalX account so we can verify your identity.
We process email deletion requests within 30 days of receiving a verifiable request.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove or anonymise personal data, including:
- Account profile details (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
- Workout logs, check-ins, personal records, and related activity data
- Favourites and other personal preferences
- Form-check posts and review text you authored (community content is anonymised or hidden)
- Authentication credentials so the account can no longer be used
What may be retained
Certain records may be retained where required for legal, financial, security, or operational obligations, for example:
- Gym subscription and payment-related records
- Gym business records (such as events you created as gym staff)
- Signed membership consent forms held by partner gyms
- Physical access / security audit logs at partner gyms
- An anonymised compliance log that an account deletion occurred
Retained records are kept without your identifiable account credentials where possible. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
Gym owners
If you are the owner of a partner gym on CalX, you must transfer gym ownership before your account can be deleted. Contact us at hello@calxfit.com if you need help with that transfer.
